Title: DAP1360 issues
Post by: old sparky on December 16, 2018, 02:22:24 PM
ok peeps, i have 3 1360 range extenders in my home, they all work fine until i try to connect the lap top to anyone of them.

It disconnects the wifi connection to any thing that is connected to the 1360.

i also cant connect via the dlink web page to access the advanced settings.

I have spoken with dlink and they haven't been helpful saying its a lap top issue, ok this maybe so but i cant access the extenders to try and resolve?

Can anyone help in anyway?

checking the internet this seems a common problem

What is the Mfr and model# of the main host router that the DAPs are connected too?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the main host router is connected to?
Are the DAPs running in extender mode?
What wireless modes are you using on the main host router? Auto?
What channels is the router using? Auto?
What security modes are you using on the router? WPA or Auto?

What is the distance between DAPs and distance between the router and DAPs?

Turn OFF the DAPs. Test the LT to the main host router? Does it work there?
Turn ON 1 DAP only. Test the LT with the DAP. Does the DAP fail here?
