Title: Right drive light constantly flashing FW 1.08
Post by: Stavr0s on May 23, 2011, 11:34:20 AM
hi,

now i have yet another problem i have just noticed  >:(

after buying a 2tb and updating to fw 1.08
the right hand bay light will not stop flashing, and before someone says read the other posts, i already have, and i dont have funplug, or a schedule setup, and pulling the lan cable does nothing, this is so frustrating because this device is meant to save power, and i have the standby settings on, and now it looks like this is not only not saving power, its also going to wear the drive out faster, even though the network nor the pc is accessing it!

it seems by me updating the firmware for the new drive i now have more probs than before

heres a small video, yes my phone sucks but u can just see it

come on dlink gives a clue!

Do you have any services such as uPnP enabled?

Just looking for possible causes. If it is scanning, then there would be disk activity. Stop all services and see what happens.
