How to kill task
« on: July 01, 2015, 12:40:48 AM »

Hi guys,

I used to use ffp with transmission and next i uninstalled that one to use the transmission official app from D-Link Technical Support.

I now want to clean my NAS from it, so i uninstalled both of them (i thought properly) but I still have a task in the resource system panel :
ID 2412
Owner root
Memory 1.2
Proc 0.0
Task name /usr/sbin/transmission-daemon

To compare i I installed again the official transmission app which runs like this :
ID 4059
Owner root
Memory 12.3
Proc 0.0
Task name /bin/transmission-daemon

How can i stop that one please ? This task run at each reboot.

Thanks.

Built-in P2P client is also Transmission.
/usr/sbin/transmission-daemon - is built into the firmware.
/bin/transmission-daemon - addon.
To disable the autostart of the embedded in the firmware Transmission - Applications / P2P Downloads / Settings / Disable
