Freezing issues
« on: February 15, 2016, 04:15:28 PM »

I have moved my whole system last week from wifi to wired connection to speed things up. I am running a DNR-202L with a DSC-932L and a DSC-5020L.

I started having freeze issues with the DNR-202L setting page. It freezes all the time. I am on the latest firmware and I am using IE on windows 8. I never had these problems before.

On top of that, when I try to access the DNR-202L through mydlink.com it is asking for a password but won't accept my admin password.

Any ideas?

OK. Setting the DNR-202L to static IP caused these issues. Setting it to DHCP fixed it. No more freezes.

Yes, using Static Address seems to be an issue.
What Static IP address where you using?

This issue has been passed to D-Link for review.

Instead of settting a static on the dnr202 do an IP reservation on the router's DHCP server.
