Title: 1.03b4 - possible to specify multilpe NFS hosts
Post by: RicRoller on November 18, 2013, 05:06:17 AM
Trying to set up a DNS-320L to store backups from a couple of Linux boxes...

Enabled the NFS service and set up properties of the Volume_1 share; I am aware that when granting NFS access I can specify a single host name/IP address or * (all hosts). But I have not found a way of specifying a (small) list of hosts (i.e. to keep the access a little more secure than just using '*' and allowing every host)

I have tried entering multiple names/IP addresses but things I try to put in as delimiters usually get thrown out as not being valid characters in a host name. So I am currently running with '*' (all hosts). But would still like to know if it is possible to have a lists of hosts...is thiat supported and what syntax do I need in the share's properties?

Thanks,
Richard
