D-view recording issues

Using D-viewcam 2.03.  When a video starts a snapshot is taken and saved as a jpeg.  My videos are all of the snapshots, i.e. whatever I see at the beginning of the video is exactly the same throughout the video. It is disheartening to have half gig videos each consisting of a single still image.

Issue 2.  I cannot stop D-view from recording.  I have to uninstall the software to stop the ongoing recording.  Disabling the scheduling has no effect. :-\

Are you using economic recording?
