Title: Better way to replay SD card recordings
Post by: Ownfir on August 09, 2012, 03:45:02 PM
Hi,

Is there a more efficient way to find out when each clip was taken at, rather than opening every single video one by one and looking at the time stamp? I'd like to record to an SD card if possible to I don't have to leave a computer open. Basically, I want something that operates like the D-Link Playback software but views the files from the SD Card.

If not, how do I categorize when each SD clip was taken without going into it?

They should be named with the timestamp, my card looks like this:

$ ls mnt/DCS-942L/20120731/01
20120731_010000D.avi       20120731_012000D.avi       20120731_014000D.avi

1 clip every 5 minutes with a duration of 5 minutes...
Is that what you mean?
