DCS-7513 - Improving Night Mode with an External IR Illuminator

The following FAQ post describes the basics of using an external IR illuminator to extend the effective range of Night Mode cameras: DCS Network Cameras - Improving Night Mode with an External IR Illuminator

Does anyone know if the DCS-7513 works with an IR Illuminator that works on 940nm wavelength ?

D-Link cameras work best with 850nm.  850 is better for image quality and distance. Using 940 will not work as well or at all with most cameras.
