This procedure is intended to ensure availability of mapped ShareCenter HDDs from a client PC/laptop that exists from sleep or hibernation on Windows 7

Procedure

  • Click the Start menu and type device manager in the Start Search box
  • Click Device Manager in the Programs list
  • In the Device Manager Dialog box, expand Network Adapters
  • Right-click the active network device, and then click Properties
  • In the Properties dialog box, click the Power Management tab and uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box
  • Click OK, and close Device Manager.
