I would like to put this in my store which is 6 miles from my house.Will this work from that distance.Thanks

can the store just have wireless connection or do I have to have the internet connected to

You'll need both wireless and internet connection at the store.

Home wireless products weather camera, router or adapter, distance is in feet and usually less than 100feet depending.

what surveillance camera would you recommend that would just need wireless and not internet

There is no wireless camera that can connect over 6 miles between points. All cameras have a short range and distance. Thus you'll need a wireless router and ISP modem service at your store to see what is going on there.

I installed a 8 camera wired security system at my aunts place, to get remote access, ISP modem service had to be installed.
