Hi guys, Just bought a DCS 7110 and want to get an NVR. I was considering the DNR 312l but i cant find many reviews of ot and the ones i do are not too good. Any suggestions for a third party NVR that works well with the DCS 7110 ?

I'm using Synology 215J with WD Purple 6TB HDD and it works pretty well.

The only downside is that the camera keeps dropping frames when configured in highest resolution (720p) and 30fps.

This is a camera related issue and I'm actually planning to get these DCS-7110 replaced with a different devices.

I would not go for D-Link NVR.

I have been having the same dilemma and choose Synology solution. It does support loads of different brand of cameras and they keep updating is regulary. The only downside is you have 2x camera licences with the box. You can purchase more if required. Good thing is the box can be utilized for many purposes.
