I will upgrade to 1.08 tonight.

Thanks for the info on the greyed out devices.

I agree with your suggestions on how to manage dhcp reservations, but i think everyone would benefit from an increase of this limit and a way to easily modify them.

For example, I currently have 9 connected devices shown as being active right now however if I try to modify one I get a message saying that: The maximum number of permitted DHCP reservations has been exceeded.

Later on in the day, this number of connected clients increases to over 30 and is not trivial to manage.

Try 1.08 and let us know.

Ya, tired to get them to increase over the years. Don't wanna seem to budge.  ::)

And that's your choice as well. D-Link still have good stuff. Just have to be flexible sometimes. Why I use Static IPs a lot here. Makes sense and easier in the long run that way.

I have updated to 1.08 and still have the limit.  I now have to factory reset and start from scratch.

I use static IPs as well.  But the device limits me to only 25.

Ya, this doesn't fix the limitation on reservations. Should be able to remove reservations though.

I am not sure how to explain this but I will do my best.

I have approximately 35 devices on my network.  Over half of them I would like to have DHCP reservations (i.e. static ip or give a custom name).  This is not possible due to the limitations as already dicussed.

With that said, there is no way to ever view the dhcp reservation list and make changes to it so once you make a reservation, it can never be changed unless you do a factory reset.

I have never seen the grey items that you posted in your previous screenshot.

What browser are you using?

Grey tiles only appear for devices that have a reservation that was set on the router for that device. Any static IP addressed devices will appear as blue tiles however will not appear as grey tiles after they are disconnected from the router.

I am using Chrome 68.  As I noted, there are no grey devices at all.  I have 25 devices (based on the limit) that have DHCP reservations.

It might be the case that only a dozen of them are shown in the GUI at one time because they might be powered off or something.

Try using IE11 or FF. I don't use Chrome most of the time so I don't see these issues with IE11 or FF.
