max 5mb files with network recording
« on: January 23, 2017, 03:37:50 AM »

Hi,

I'm running a few DCS 2132L wireless and recording to a NAS over LAN. But it's very hard to use the footage to anything as they are all limited to 5mb. I read that that is max unless you use a microSD, but this requires that I record to the sd card only? is that correct? is there no way of getting larger recordings to my NAS?

Thanks

Mads

Link>Welcome!

  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What Mfr and model is the NAS? Some D-Link NAS have a Surveillance plug ins that can record continuously.
