DCS-933L: set motion detection area without Java?
« on: January 07, 2017, 09:18:53 PM »

I can't figure out how to set the motion detection area.  I'm running Windows 10 which, it seems, has no support whatsoever for Java.  Which means when I'm prompted to "Detection Areas  Use mouse to click the blocks where you want to monitor for motion.  " -- there are no blocks to click.

I'm wanting it to email me a set of images when motion is detected.  I would be good with the detection area being the entire frame.  Is there any way to accomplish this without Java?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Try using IE11 or FF browsers with Java installed?
