Title: config Timeout error
Post by: Richpat on March 27, 2017, 10:27:22 PM
Hi,

I am getting this config timeout error (error 0.70_2_5_E_0) with Dlink lite apps on iPad and iPhone. I only get this error with camera 5029.

I do not see this error with 5222L and 930L camera.

Cameras are installed with the latest firmware.

any suggestion?

Best Regards

Pat

Has a power cycle one 5029 been performed?
Turn off all other cameras and test the 5029 alone. Still happens?
Is uPnp and uPnP Port Forwarding enabled on ALL cameras?

What iOS versions are you using on the phone and pad?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?

hi,
Power cycle had been done, still got the same time out error.
I have 3 5029 cameras, they all have the same error. I do not see the same error on 5222LB1 camera.

uPnp is enable.
uPnp Port forwarding is not enable.

iOS 10.3 on iPad mini
iOS 10.3 on iPhone
iOS 10.2.1 on iPad

Main router Dlink 890L.

One camera is connected via wifi, the others two cameras are connected with ethernet cable

After the config timeout window pop up, and I wait for a few second more. The live feed video maybe display on the back ground.
I click on "OK" on the error message window to acknowledge it, then the connection will be lost.

Seeing the config time out error on the iPad as well?

What happens if you enable uPnP Port Forwarding?

enable uPnP port Forwarding does not make any difference.

This maybe something you need to contact support about. Maybe something on the mydlink service side. I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
