(1/1)

sewing1243:
What are the correct settings in the IPV6 section of settings to support the Windows 10 IPV6 requirements for for Homegroup support on my Home wired/wireless LAN?

* What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
* Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
* What region are you located?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

* What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
* What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
Does your ISP support native IPv6 services to your modem?

Mostly enabled IPv6 and it's automatic.

I'm only interested in IPV6 support for my local LAN to comply with Microsoft's requirements for Network and Homegroup on Windows 10. My ISP, if supporting IPV6, is still only using IPV4 in my area and therefore my connection to the world wide wait is via an IPV4 address.

FurryNutz:
Select Local Only. There should be a drop down menu. It's not fully needed in Windows 10. I have a windows 10 pc at home as well. IPv6 is disabled and I have access and can see all my shared networking devices.
