DCS-5220: how to access my IP webcam from the office
« on: August 16, 2009, 08:21:39 PM »

I need some help!  I have setup my DCS-5220 IP camera.  From my home network, I can view the images online via the IP address.

However, I cannot do the same via the Internet.

What have I not setup?

You will need to open a port forwarding rule and forward the port you would like to view the camera at to port 80 of the camera and open ports 554 and 5556-5559 for TCP and UDP as well. There are FAQs for this on our support website at dlink.com.
