Title: DWA-130 on Ubuntu 10.10
Post by: love4shadow on March 26, 2011, 08:56:03 PM
Firstly, I know there's already a topic on this but it didn't help me at all, so I made this topic. Also, sorry if I spell things wrong, I'm a huge noob to Ubuntu.

I have a D-Link DWA-130 wireless N usb stick. I installed the NetMW158.inf [ I think those numbers are correct ] I installed it using Ntis-Wrapper graphic interface. Once I installed it it asked for the wep key. I double checked it before hitting ok, the entire system freezes. I dunno what to do! I need that computer!

Please help as soon as possible!

Hi
not sure if you installed the correct .inf file.; where did u get this file?
the correct file is called net8192su.inf
you can get this by downloading the XP driver from DLink site.
