Hardwired PC can't see network printer connected via WIFI bridge
« on: February 06, 2015, 10:24:35 PM »

My setup:
- DHCP server is operated by router from my internet provider (Sagem)
- DIR 655 is hardwired connected to the router
- DIR 655 is access point for my WIFI
- A WIFI bridge to DIR 655 is established where a network printer is connected

All my PC's running on the WIFI are able to find the network printer.
However my hardwire PC (to the DIR 655) is not able to detect the network printer.

This seems like some settings that has to done in the DIR 655.
What should be done for the hardwired PC to be able to see the network printer?
Settings in DIR-655?

I had previously the network printer hardwired connected to the DIR 655 and at the time my hardwired PC was able to find the printer.

Thanks

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

If the printer worked before directly connected to the 655 router, then we presume that something happened when you installed the bridge.
Test the printer out again directly connected to the 655 router.

What Mfr and model # is this Bridge?
