Hello everyone,

This is my first post on this forum, i made an account here seeking for help after i bought this Dlink router like 3 weeks ago , and since then im experiencing some weird things. Sometimes even if im the only one connected in the house my net speed is slow and get slower and slower untill i lose net and then i have to reboot router to get it back or wait few minutes. I live in Algeria and i have 2mbps connection speed but when i do speed test sometimes i get even less than 1mbps and sometimes i get 2.20 mbps on the speedtest.

Before i bought this router i had a HUAWEI hg520 and it was working just fine , no drop in speed or anything untill it started having issues with booting ( can't turn it on ) and i thought it was time for a change ( had that router since 2008 ).

Appreciate the help i can find ( btw i read somewhere about updating firmware or that there is a russian firmware that makes this router works wonder , i tried to update it but everytime it says update fail and reboot the router to the old firmware which is ME_1.03 ).
