What does WMM ENABLE mean?
« on: February 04, 2010, 12:51:57 PM »

Is it good to enable WMM ENABLE  because i went through the setting it say this.

WMM Enable

Enabling WMM can help control latency and jitter when transmitting multimedia content over a wireless connection.

I don't use wireless for my xbox 360 but it say Wmm help control latency and jitter.

I believe WMM (Wireless QoS) is for helping video and audio streams going over the wireless connection. I might presume watching netflix instant movies over the wireless to you Laptop PC could be an example.

I presume this does nothing for gaming.
