High ping
« on: March 24, 2021, 06:30:13 PM »

Hello everybody,

Im using DAP-1530 (AP750) as an repeater in my office. My desktop is connected to the repeater by an Ethernet cable. I' ve used to play CSGO on my notebook (same table where the repeater is)  and would have a ping of about 10ms. I'd expected my ping to increase but on average I'm getting a ping of about 200 ms. Is there anything to solve this problem?

thks

What is the distance between the DAP and the host wifi router?
Pings can be normally higher when using extenders. Not recommended for gaming. Wired directly to the host router is preferred for gaming.
