Hi

I have one DNR Unit, connected to three DCS cam's

FW on DNR is 2.40
FW on DCS is 1.03

When I try to setup motion detection, there is no recordings at all.
I've tried to enable motion detection on the DNR and DCS both, and on them seperatly. But nothing helps.

I guess, that I have to enable "Enable video Motion" on the DCS cam's, and then setup "Record by schedule" on the DNR, with the following parameters:
In the "Recording schedule" I've configured every cam to start 00:00 and end at 24:00.
Pre recodr and post record are both 15 seconds.
And "Record on Event" is checked.

Isn't that the correct setup?

• What region are you located?

I would review the user manual for each DNR and DCS and check for motion detection information and configuration.

Is the configuration you outlined working?

Have tried to setup the system according to the manuals, but nothing gets recorded.

The setup, I've outlined should be functioning according to the manuals. But no :-(

In "Playback system" the timeline is blue, telling me that motion detected recording is enabled. But there is no recordings. And YES, I've of course tried to trigger the motion detection by going in front of the CAM's ;-)

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
