DSR-150 Bricked?!
« on: June 10, 2014, 08:27:09 AM »

So, there's no section for the DSR-150 so I'm posting this here.
Yesterday I tried to upgrade the firmware on the router through the GUI/website. It went through to about 60% and rebooted. Now I'm unable to access the webpage for it, or anything else for that matter. I tried doing the firmware emergency flash steps (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=44909.0) and that doesn't work with this router- or my router is just that messed up. I also tried tftp-ing the old (original) firmware over to the router, that did not work either. Any ideas?? Anyone?!?!

Welcome!

What region are you located?

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and get help with this router.

Let us know how it goes.

Hello, my region of Hungary.
Unfortunately, the description referred to does not work.
This is a DSR-150 H/W Ver: A1E.
I upgraded to the latest version on the website.
Since then, only the Power LED flashes and unfortunately it does not do anything.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Earlier, I contacted the D-Link Hungary, but there (because the devices Russia bought) has advised that the Russian D-Link should I contact, but the Russian D-Link does not respond to e-mail requests :(
It would be a chance this warranty service on the D-Link Hungary arrange be?

You'll need to ask Hungary if they can RMA your unit. I don't know cross regional warranty information and policy there. It differs between regions.
Does Russia have a phone contact number you can call?

I'll check with a resource I have and see if he's still around and see if he can recommend something if you can't seem to get any information on your router. Please be patient.

Dear Rover45,

We have no agreement between EU and RU regions. This means that purchased unit in RU has RU warranty conditons. We are not able to provide any support and RMA claim for units what are purchased in different region.
Please understand.
Ps.: Velem beszélt telefonon a magyar vonalon, sajnos a vásárlás helyszínén kell érvényesítenie a garancia igényét.

Thanks in advance,
