thanks for the file; but sadly, it's exactly the same...

will keep an eye on it for the next 10-12 days and see if the logging behaves the same

30 August 07:30AM - 16 days have passes since last incident - 1/2 internet speed with loads of lag during GW2 session
checked log, router rebooted itself just like it did before, restoring internet functionality

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

there is no local office support for Romania, that means I have to make an international call - not gonna happen  :-\

since my ISP upgraded (for free) my contract from 100Mbps to 200Mbps I will have a 1Gbps router next week or so
the 605L will be transformed into a wireless AP to cover my living room
if need be, I will downgrade the FW on the 605L with previous versions

I've asked my contact at D-Link to review this and see if we can find you phone support thats close to Romania.

As some alternative suggestions on contacting D-Link, try one of these:

Please be patient.

~10 days have passed - almost clockwork ... same behavior, even with different firmware, slight differences tho

this time, when I went into the log page it did not crash/reboot the router
I tried to clean all the 19 pages of logs, but that didn't do anything - speeds were still low

the only thing that restored the internet speed was to reboot the router  :-\

SO it seems that maybe something in the log accumulation is causing the router to become hung up and non functional after a period of time.  ???
