Ajaxplorer disappeared of NAS?
« on: February 14, 2014, 07:10:43 PM »

NAS, Server, ShareCenter, APP's NEEDED For Privileges, HELP & Install,

I have the ShareCenter setup and running within my Home network, and will work from remote access,

I had a APP on the server named Ajaxplorer, I have it no more.. Unable to get it back. See link.. http://pyd.io/

With the software on the ShareCenter whick came with it, just as Ajaxplorer (but now gone), I don't see a way to set privilages for certain folders or files.. All I seem to have is a way to restrict read, write, & denial to my main volumes.

Firmware update or re-installing did not bring Ajaxplorer back, I hope someong on PCHF can help with the install of this or some other managemnt APP..

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ajaxplorer/files/pydio/stable-channel/

Hope someone can help with a software package for doing this.. 1 thing I liked about Ajaxplorer was the range of settings it gave me. and it had a player in the corner to preview, Music, & Video...

I forgot this may help, I have the Dlink NAS DNS-320

ftp://dlink.com.sg/DNS-320/Setup%20Procedures%20-%20Firmware%202.XX/How%20to%20Setup%20a%20FTP%20Server%20Access%20on%20the%20DNS-320.pdf

There are other internal setting I would like to learn about, Apple iTunes, and Torrett downloading from other sites by IP and time to download..

I had it running in a RAID 0 then desided to change to RAID 1, So I ran through the setup software to do this, after uploading my files I went to set some privliges and it was gone, I did not want to do a factor reset on the back and knowing the Ajaxplorer was outdated, and upgrade to see link, I thought I would upgrade, BUT don't know id ite for me and if it has that preview window with players in it.. I am surfing this link now looking around...

Firmware update or re-installing did not bring Ajaxplorer back, I hope someong on PCHF can help with the install of this or some other managemnt APP..

I just found this post, and I thought I'd let you know.

You're not alone. I've been experimenting with my DNS-325 and something happened to my ajaxexplorer too. It ran fine, I made some changes to my NAS and now, no matter what I do, ajaxexplorer won't work correctly.

I don't have any answers for you. I'm just a user who's trying to figure out what's going on in my box.
