Opions greyed out in log settings.
« on: December 01, 2013, 06:07:28 PM »

I just upgraded from another dlink router and this routers log is missing all the ifo the other one ad. Under log settings  I get 6 options. Unlike the old dlink router the help pages are worthless they are no help in setting the options.

System,  Firewall & Security , Router Status  All 3 are checked I then have
Critical, Warning, Information  These 3 are greyed out. WHY?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

I presume it's due to the limited memory some of these routers have, I have seen this on a couple of newer gen routers, you can only have a certain set of log options.
