"My favorites" panel

I can not add applications on the panel favorite. I tried to drag them and clicking the right mouse button to no avail ... alternatives?

Not all options can be put in my favorites. But if it works, right click.

Yeh, it doesn't work for me either. I've tried putting every possible thing in it, and nothing stays.

There is only a phew applications out there
I have to use Google chrome to install them and internet explorer to move them
