Title: Please Help - Newbie
Post by: sus on August 09, 2009, 07:46:45 AM
My boyfriend accidently deleted the operating system from his computer along with all programs.  I recently installed Linux so the operating system is up and running until I can re-install windows.  We have a wireless N USB adapter DWA-130 but I don't know how to conncet his computer so he can access the internet.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Sus

In Mandriva Linux:

Attach your computer by wire to the router for Internet access. Rightclick on the panel net icon. Chose Wireless. Let the computer get additional packages. Put in your SSID and WPA-code. Done.

It should take two minutes.

Remove the network cable and stick to linux.
