I recently pulled out an old DCS-942L to user again after it has been sitting in a drawer for a while.
I reset it back to factory using the pin hole on the back and waited for it to obtain an ip address.
I found the IP by doing an ip scan on my network and then attempted to login to it.
For some reason it will not accept the default username of admin and no password as per the manual.
I cannot login to the camera at all. Any help would be appreciated.

- What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What browser are you using? Try IE11 or FF browsers.
Be sure to clear browser caches before accessing the cameras web page.
Set up the camera first using the installation software for it found on D-Links support page...

Let us know if the set up software works...

Nope, the software seems pretty flaky on Windows 10 and even when I get it to work it doesn't even detect the camera

I presume the camera maybe bad now. ???
