hi, my main home router is DSL-2750B dsl modem with Aus 3.02 Firmware

I setup a wi-fi repeater to extend the range and provide network connectivity to my bedroom pc that doesn't have a functioning wi-fi card.

I use Linksys wrt54GL router with DD-wrt firmware, the repeater was set to 192.168.1.2 static IP, unfortunately my android phone also has the same IP address, thus I can't seem to access the WebUI for the repeater. I'm not sure how to have the dlink router or the phone to release the 192.168.1.2 address that the repeater is using.

 any ideas?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • What region are you located?

Is this modem from and ISP? This forum is for help and support with D-Link OEM FW. We have no information or handle 3rd party FW.

However, I can tell you that you should let the modem/router handle all IP reservations. Set up IP reservations for your devices ON the modem and assign different IP addresses. This will avoid any conflics and each device will get it's own different IP address each time it connects to the modem.
