Title: 2750U vs 2750U/U1
Post by: sb1370 on February 24, 2015, 05:38:22 AM
I'm going to buy a new ADSL modem because my current modem Wi-Fi range is really poor.
There are 2 version of this modem: 2750U and 2750U/U1
What are they differences? Is 2750U the black one and 2750U/U1 the white one?
I read buyers' reviews in a seller website and there were mixed reviews about its wireless connection quality and range. They also reported USB speed is 2MB/S!
I think the white one is more problematic, right?

What Mfr and model modem do you have currently?

You could turn OFF the WiFi on the current modem and install a D-Link model DAP to just upgrade and add better WiFi instead of getting a new modem.

I have a TP-Link.
I'd rather to buy a new modem, because mine is old.

Ok, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. They will have specific information you need. Ask for sales as well. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
