Title: Uplink DES-1224T with DES-1024r+
Post by: eulaersivan on June 02, 2010, 01:26:15 PM
I'm using a des-1024R+ and bought a des-1224T to have additional ports. How should I link both switches with a cross-over cable? Can I use whatever port or should I use a specific port number?

You shouldn't even need a crossover, I believe we have auto MDIX there, so a straight through should work.  Barring any VLANs or anything like that then yes, any port works.
