Unable to view content on Mobile app

I have a DSL-2890AL running the latest firmware version. I have a couple of ext HDD plugged in and when I connect via a PC on the network I can browse and open files fine. I have a mixture of mobile (iPad min and S3 and S5 running android), with these I have loaded the Shareport app and when on the network at home I can browse the list view of pictures and videos but when I click on say a picture all I get is a blank screen. With teh videos I get an option as to wha I want t open the file with, have tried a variety (vlc and the default) but again nothing plays on miobile device.

Am I doing something completely wrong here and have missed something basic.

Thanks in advance and any further info I can supply please let me know.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
