Only one out of three computers connect to wireless
« on: July 26, 2010, 03:52:56 PM »

Right now I have three laptops in my home.
Only one will connect to the internet through the wireless settings. But the other two are stuck in local only connection. Google gave little to nothing.  I've tried resetting the router, restoring factory defaults, and thats it. Is there anything I need to do to fix this? I just bought this router today and its already becoming buyers remorse.

So I decided to try diagnosing the problem and it says it can't connect to the DNS Server. I don' know what to do.

The problem appears to not be with the router but with the laptops.  You have not mentioned which level of Windows nor what type of Internet security software.

Yeah I figured it out.
The laptops didn't have automatic DNS set so they were trying to connect to something else.
