StreamBoost™ technology identifies the data going through a router with a statistical matching technique and compares it to a database of existing applications (i.e. different types of streams and their bandwidth requirements). When it finds a match, it assigns the appropriate policy for the router to manage the overall traffic so that each device on the network is allowed to operate optimally.
