Title: presale - can DAP-1522 be used as repeater?
Post by: itinko on August 20, 2009, 11:20:31 AM
We have a Wifi network in one of 3 buildings. The signal reaches the second building but not the 3rd. Can we simply place a DAP-1522 in the second building to try and extend the range to the 3rd?

What is required to connect the DAP-1522 to the original WiFi network. Can we just fire it up and select the SSID of the network we want to join? Or do we have to configure something on the original router?

Thanks!

The DAP-1522 is no range extender/repeater.
It can act as normal access point connected to your network via LAN or as client bridge connect a number of wired clients to your LAN using its wireless.

You can connect the DAP easily with its site survey. Select your SSID, enter your wireless password and go.
