Is this a retail unit or one that was acquired from your ISP?
This is what is available for your region:
http://global.dlink.com.sg/support/support_detail.asp?idproduct=655

If you choose to upgrade and if this is your own unit, not from the ISP, then follow this for upgrading:

Very quick. I am really appreciate that.
However, it did not work too.

It is the retail one not from any ISP.

I wanna attach here the image. But can not find the way to do that.

Adding Screenshots In A Post

Be sure to follow the FW update process I linked and use IE11 or FF browsers. Clear browser caches before and after loading the FW file.

Did you do follow the FW update process I linked too? And are you unpacking the .zip file to reveal the .bin file to actually send?

Be sure to disable any PC software security programs and browser plug-ins temporarily while sending the file.
BE SURE YOU ARE LAN WIRED TO THE ROUTER WITH THE PC.

Yes, I used cable to connect to the Router and turned the WiFi off. I have extracted the zip to get the .bin file. I think it is some kind of unknown issue. I had done on some Router before, DIR-615, DIR-809...

There is the same question with 0.01sh FW in Thailand forum but still no answer too :)

Anyway, thanks so much

Well you can try this:
Emergency Recovery Mode
Download the v1.04sh file first. See if you can get to the recovery mode first. If you can, give it a try.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

One thing I notice is the firmware version shown in the screenshot is 0.01. You would think it would be released with firmware version 1 or later. Also why is there no current firmware version or date listed under "Firmware information"? Is that normal?

Not sure why. Each region does there own thing so maybe different for Asia. I see v1.04sh on there site so I presume maybe just forcing the file in recovery mode might work. Is an odd unit though.  ::)

Does Dlink change the language pack for each region? You would think a device sold in Vietnam with Asian firmware wouldn't be in English.

Could OP comment on where they bought the router at retail? Was it a local store or from a online retailer? I wonder if the hardware is different for that region because of how they handle Wifi frequencies differently there.

PS. Here is the Dlink post mentioned previously, see post #313.

I presume each region may set up a default language or have a LP loaded. Just depends what each region does. This maybe  complete HW issue rather than FW.

@FurryNutz: Is it dangerous if I do the recovery? I think there is no need to do that. The router is working fine. I just wanna upgrade the FW to use the Facebook integration function. Otherwise, it is not a must. Maybe I will do that step at the end. Thank you.

@Hard Harry: Thanks for the link. I will try it at home tonight. Just saw some bad results but I will let you know the final. I have no idea about the relationship between FW version / HW and the region language.
