1- every time i turn off the device or shutdown im lossing the configration ( workgroup name - users - etc ) even the ip address it is going back to default 192.168.0.32

2- the device is freezzing when i do move large files

3- i got the new beta firmware 1.04b but i need to know if i do upgrade the firmware i there any lossing for the raid5 or the data in ??

i need to know if anyone try to update the device without lossing the raid5 volume and without any loss of data

and also does that firmware fix the default configration problem ?

Upgrading the firmware should have no impact on your existing RAID configuration or data.

I'm curious whether you tried reseting the firmware to the factory defaul to see if that solves the lost configuration issues you've been experiencing.

Nonetheless, the latest beta firmware fixes many problems that exist in the factory default firmware.
