Restrict access to web gui to only default vlan
« on: December 22, 2013, 06:34:07 PM »

Hi:

How do you limit access to the web gui to only the the default vlan?
I've got a cisco wap321 access point connected to the dsr250.  Ive got two ssids on the access point (private vlan1 and guest vlan2). The wap connects directly to the dsr port which is configured for trunk vlan1 and vlan2, and no intervlan access from vlan2.  The dsr is still doing the dhcp for the guest network, but folks on the guest network can still bring up the dsr250 web gui by browsing to 192.168.2.1
Did i design the guest network insecurely?  What needs to be done to restrict access to the gui, and are there any other things to consider?

I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support for information about this. Also check the User Manual for any information regarding this as well.
