Title: DCS-2230 video file time tag is not calendar date
Post by: acellier on August 11, 2012, 07:05:27 PM
Trying to get motion sending by ftp, we switched trigger to PIR sensor ...
Got (to local storage attached to router) log alert files
with readable yyymmdd_hhmmss???   such as  evt_20120811_185807130.log
but the video came as: Cam3Video1344736701_4529.avi

What a mess compared to the DCS-930/932's yyymmddhhss???? neatly placed in a folder structure

Tried to find my way to D-Link support, but seem to go in circles there ...

I've a modicum of patience, but it is being sorely tested ...

Have you tried going to that cam's SETUP >> TIME AND DATE?

thanks for the reply - but this "feature" (or lack of feature) was unfixable. We have a 930 and a 932 that work fine and are so programmable.
We returned this incomplete design many months ago.
