Title: DIR-130 Boot Failure
Post by: vcreedjr on July 01, 2010, 07:28:01 PM
I have a DIR-130 that was removed from service well over a year ago and put on the shelf.  I needed another VPN router and decided to use the DIR-130 again.  I plugged the AC adapter into the DIR-130 applied power and the router starts the power on sequence and stops after a short period of time with the power light on, the status light blinking, the WAN port indicator on when connected to a modem but any combination of the LAN ports lights are either on or off solid whether or not a PC is connected to the port corresponding to the indicator light.  My thought is that the switch portion is defective. This is an old A1 version with original firmware version 1.00.

Any ideas if this is repairable?

Thank you.

Did you ever get this working?  I have 2 DIR-130's that seem to boot fine but 192.168.0.1 does not allow me to access them.  I have reset them both.
