More Than 20 Minutes to Reboot
« on: June 27, 2011, 07:13:26 PM »

What conclusion should I draw when I reboot my DIR-625 and it takes upwards of 20 minutes to reboot - I'm not joking - during which the (Firefox) status bar says "Waiting for 192.168.0.1..." and the router's configuration interface says "Please wait 0 seconds"? According to Windows 7, my signal strength is 4 out of 5 bars.

Lately, this happens every time I reboot the router. Is it time to replace it?

Does this happend with a factory reset?
Try factory reset with only ONE PC wired to the router. Disconnect and turn off all other devices, wired and WiFi.

What FW version is loaded?
What HW version is this router?
