Hi

I'm a new user and have a quick question.

Is this add-on available without installing anything else on the NAS (ie the 'fun plug')?  The standard software works OK but I would quite like to try Twonky due to its ability to show album art/better search functions etc, however I don't want to go messing around with any coding etc.  I have the latest firmware installed. 

Edit: I have a DNS-320L.

Installing third-party software is always a risk
This addon is not one hundred users installed, so I see no reason to worry.

Thanks for the reply, however it did not answer my question. 

If I accept the risks, can I simply instal the add-on, or is anything else also required to make it work?

I again did not understand the question. Download the addon, set in the "user's guide", launch and configure through the web interface.

The poster asking the question might be in the same situation as myself.

I have a DNS-320 Rev1... it's software does not have the add-on funciton.

FunPlug was used to allow the installation of packages...  I have added earlier versions of Twonky on my dns-320, but have no idea how to install this package.
