The D-Link provided firmware does not support the direct-connection of a USB storage device to the DNS-323 rear USB port. A third party software product exists, Fonz's Fun Plug or FFP, that is designed to re-purpose the DNS-323 rear USB port to support the direct-connection and access of USB storage devices.

Note: D-Link does not endorse nor warrant the installation and use of FFP with the DNS-323. DNS-323 owners who chose to use this product do so at their own risk.
