Ok what's wrong

Good day

I usually think I am pretty good at this networking stuff but I have run into a problem that I cannot figure out. I setup my DAP-1360 and it seems to work very well for my laptop and my wife's laptop an even on my tablet. My desk top is the problem. I can see the setup on my router and I can try to connect to it but it will always connect to the lesser signal on the router. I show them both one at 100% and the other at about 58 percent and it always makes the connection on the 58% signal. I have looked and looked and I have not been able to figure it out. Any thoughts from anyone?
