I have from my isp 500 Mbs download and 200 Mbs upload. If I set qos at 480 dw and 190 up in my speed test does not pass 92 Mbs upload and download. What is the problem?

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
- Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
- Has a Factory Reset (http://blog.dlink.com/what-is-a-reset-button-when-should-i-use-it) been performed?
- Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch?

- Was the router working before any firmware updates?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
Remove any set devices from the QoS priority sections, save settings and reboot then speed test again. Use wired LAN cable for speed testing.

If I disable qos work with 500 Mbs. No matter what firmware I use,I have the same problem and I wanna really use qos with high speed.

D-Link is aware of some QoS issuess:

There's some debate on weather QoS is really needed on ISP speeds over 100Mb.

I wait update, it is nice to see some feature like stream, gaming, share and others.

Good to hear. Enjoy. ;)

he he ... sounds like you encountered a similar issue to me ... I am still yet to convinced that the DIR-880L throughput limitation is linked to the "QOS issue" ... suspecting it is actually a router (or it's firmware) limitation.
Evidence was personal testing using my cable connection into a modem/router - where the back-end DIR-655 delivered ~105Mbps from the WAN but the "new" dir-880L delivered only 85mMbps with the same connection.
It's been reported on the interthing in other places and on these forums.
Does anyone have newer information (ie comparative testing) using the latest 1.05b02 firmware ?
