Title: d-link dhp-w306av red power led + WPS/Eny LED stays blue
Post by: washhere on August 17, 2014, 11:45:16 PM
Hi,

My D-Link dhp-w306av was working fine till i came back from holidays. When i plugged the device, the power LED stays red, and the WPS/Eny LED stays blue without blinking. I don't understand because i never saw, and red on the internet something like this.

I use this device as wifi extender so i have the D-Link dhp-306av connected to my router and this one, in another room.

The crazy thing is that i didn't touch anything.

Hope someone can help me.

Try powering off the DHP and power cycle the main host router. After the host router is back to ready, plug in the DHPs in the same room as the main host router as test again. Try a reset on the DHPs as well in the same room and set up from scratch if the power cycle doesn't work...

you said: "Try powering off the DHP and power cycle the main host router".
I power off both d'link? Or only the one that is not working?

The power Led is still red, and the WPS is still blue. Nothing has changed :(

Why is the power led red?
