Can anyone tell me what is the purpose of having IPv4 or IPv6 multicast streaming on or off? just wanting more info on this i want to know if this might benefit something i might wanna do.

Mainly for streaming video content from external and internal sources...Offers functionality between streaming devices and helps devices pickup video sources.
