I just got a new DCS-2630L, actually my third. I configured it through the web interface, and it shows up and works fine as a local camera on the mydlink lite app. But if I try to add it to mycloud by clicking the + button (in either the local cameras list or in the camera's window in the app) it fails with a "Connection timed out" message.

Is the server down? If not, how do I fix this? Everything is working except adding it to mydlink. I can't recall this happening on any of the previous cameras.
Thanks!

I was using a fixed IP address in the camera settings, when I set it to use an automatic IP address I was able to add it to the mydlink account. Now that it's connected I've set it back to a fixed IP address and everything still looks fine.

Glad you got it fixed. Ya, you have to use a automatic IP address during the set up process. Once it's all set up and working with everything, then you can change to a Static IP address.
Enjoy. ;)
